ANTs Compatibility Server (ACS) v2.0

The ANTs Compatibility Server is a middleware solution which allows server side code (queries, functions, and stored procedures) from legacy databases to run natively and transparently against the Oracle database with little-to-no application rewrite.

Oracle Partner ANTs Software presents a very different approach that achieves the desired goal, but at a far lower cost and a far lower level of risk.

The ACS resides between the legacy applications and Oracle, allowing the applications to operate as if they were still communicating with the original legacy database server, while ACS translates all database activity to Oracle PL/SQL.

The current release of this technology is focused on rehosting applications from Sybase ASE to the Oracle database, although migrations from other database platforms to Oracle are also planned.

The ACS approach has been proven in several Fortune 500 companies. These are scenarios involving thousands of users, thousands of stored procedures, hundreds of tables and dozens of triggers.
